Affiliate Terms & Conditions Agreement
The For Parents of Adolescents Website is owned and operated by Hiding Star Publishing, LLC. In these terms, "we or us" refers to the For Parents of Adolescents site and/or Hiding Star Publishing, LLC and the term "you" or "affiliate(s)" refers to you as an affiliate applicant and/or as an accepted affiliate.

All affiliates are considered as independent contractors not as employees. You must have a completed W-9 tax form on file with us in order to be paid. You may download a tax form here.

There is nothing in this agreement that would constitute a joint venture or partnership or any other relationship beyond you being an independent contractor with us.

All affiliates must apply and be accepted by us in order to be an affiliate. We reserve the right to reject your application if we discover that your website promotes material that would be unsuitable for our intended audience including materials that are illegal, violent, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive or objectionable to us as defined by us or any sites that appear to be infringing on copyright laws or other instances as outlined below.

We reserve the right to reject your application if your site attempts in any manner to include For Parents of Adolescents, FPOA, Hiding Star Publishing, LLC, Hiding Star, Star Publishing, Hiding Publishing, or any variation or misspelling or our names in the name of your site including all possible .endings (i.e. .com, .net, .org, etc.)

We reserve the right to reject your application to be an affiliate if your website is one that offers bidding for any of our domain names or related domain names, or the domain names of others.

We reserve the right to reject your application to be an affiliate if we determine that your site is primarily a directory site or a site of which we pay for advertising on.

We reserve the right to terminate our agreement with you and refuse payment to you if we find that you have violated any of the above conditions following acceptance.

Affiliates may derive income from referrals to the FPOA membership program only, and are not eligible for income for any additional products a referral may purchase either through this site or through the Hiding Star Publishing, LLC site or through a referrals use of any of our own affiliate links displayed on this website leading to products on other sites.

In order to be accepted, you must have a website that is published and accepted by us. You may then market our site by links on your website or by links in an email. Appropriate links will be provided by us to you and you are not at liberty to generate your own without our permission.

Once you are accepted, we agree to pay you 50% of all membership fees generated through the use of your affiliate links. Please realize that if a referrals uses your link to visit our site but chooses not to join at that time, they may join later and not be using your affiliate link to get to our site. We cannot control this and only referrals who register and pay using your link when visiting, will be associated with your affiliate account.

We are not and will not be liable for any damages or circumstances arising from this agreement and will not be liable for any thing beyond the total fees paid to you or payable to you. We reserve the right to refuse payment to you if we find that you have violated any of the terms of this agreement.

You agree that you are solely responsible for the operation and maintenance of your own website and the marketing of our membership program, and you will hold us harmless for any claims, damages, expenses, or other fees associated with the operation and maintenance of your own site or the marketing of our site.

We cannot promise you that our affiliate system will be 100% operational at all times and there may be periods of down time or other errors that inadvertently result in you not getting credit for your referrals. We will do our best to insure that the program is operational at all times but we will not be liable for instances of system error.

We reserve the right to modify this agreement at any time and may do so by giving you notice either by mail or email. If you choose not to accept the terms of modification, your only option will be to terminate this agreement.

This agreement may be terminated by either of us at any time by doing so in writing either by mail or email and we reserve the right to terminate it immediately should we discover that you have violated the terms of this agreement.
We are currently putting the finishing touches on our affiliate program to make sure that it will run properly. Please check back or you may contact us to let us know you'd like to be notified when we have this up and running.
