Sometimes, raising teens can be so frustrating that as a parent you find yourself falling short of your own ideals for healthing positive parenting. It is important to allow yourself to be human and not expect perfection from yourself or from your teen. If your struggles are frequent, consider seeking support for yourself either from other parents or from a professional. Raising teens is likely to be challenging for most, but it shouldn't be something you dread.
