Consider taking a day to go play outdoors with your adolescent. Perhaps you'd like to learn to ski, or maybe you already know how and you haven't been for awhile. If your teen is resistant to going, let them take a friend along if necessary. The idea is to get out of the house, away from the television, away from the computer, away from the city stressors, and show your teen a way to have fun without alcohol or drugs or technology.
