As the end of school year approaches and summer is around the corner, involve your teen in choosing productive activities for the summer season. This could include some type of sports or talent camp, a Spiritual retreat, or volunteer opportunities as well as a summer job if your teen is old enough to work. Too much time on your teen's hands often spells trouble, as boredom eventually gets filled with something and often it's not what you would choose for your child. Structure is the solution. Make a plan and stick to it.
