This is always a great month for a theme of gratitude. You may wish to start a daily ritual with your teens where you journal things you are grateful for before going to bed.
Sometimes just taking the time to do this is worth the effort as we spend so much energy focusing on the things that are wrong in our world and in our families that we may not show very much appreciation for each other or for the things that are working well in our lives.
When things seem to be all going wrong, this is especially helpful to give your teens an opportunity to learn to look for the light in the midst of the darkness.
