Be a role model of tolerance and love that empowers your children's generation to heal the wounds of racism and discrimination. Teach them about diversity in a manner that speaks of differences on a continuum rather than in boxes labeled right and wrong. Only then can they balance their own identity with their heritage in a manner that resonates the least rebellion and resistance.
